I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

London was in the mood for a white Christmas this year with the December snow. We are even getting a second cold spell in January 2010, and the entire country is paralysed. No school, no work, just fun in the snow. Great stuff.

Homard

How to make a boring telephone more interesting? Attach a lobster to it. Obviously. As they do in Belgo.

Art session

What can I say? They just love getting messy, and are so talented.

Christma list

Ines has written her first christmas list to Santa! We even went to meet him in Harrods. A nice and gentle Santa who even remembered mummy since a long time ago when she was a little girl...
I was really impressed with the variety in her selection and of course handwriting.

School Christmas Play

What a lovely time of year for a 4 year old!. the kids in Les Papillons worked very hard to prepare this year's christmas play. And it was amazing! Lots of songs, brilliant costumes (courtesy of mums) and great work from all the teachers. The kids enjoyed it so much...
Ines was the star of Bethlehem and shared the stage with the moon for a special song. Such proud mums & dads.

Christmas tree

Our christmas tree was lovingly decorated and found it's place in front of the fireplace. Santa left lots of presents for everyone under the tree... Ines' favourite: tiger outfit. Nico's favourite: Mario Kart for the Wii. My favourite: my new red kitchenaid. Of course we didn't forget to leave Santa a mince pie and a glass of milk and a carrot for Rudolph. Ines insisted on preparing the tray and peeling the carrot.

An inflatable toy

On an outing at the Park de la Ligue Arabe, Ines chose an inflatable airplane as a gift from her Baka. This toy will definitely fill up the bath! I love the way the toys are displayed... Very inventive.

Rabbit box

Ines got this gorgeous rabbit box from Barbara. I just love this packaging. I need to look into origami boxes...

family pictures

I love this pictures arrangements that I completed a while ago in our hallway. I bought lots of old picture frames at my local charity shop and painted them all black.

Blossom tree

We finally got around to redecorating Ines' bedroom and she got a Blossom tree on her bedroom wall. She just loves it!
