More snapshopsfrom Folegandros

I love the bread that the baker makes in Anno Meria. A 20 minutes morning walk to go and get it helped us work up an appetite each morning.

The harbour of Karavoustasis with its fisherman's boat. The attraction of the day/week was when the boat would arrive from the neighbouring islands or the mainland: new blood on the island.
The church above Chora. A great place to watch the sunset. Don't forget to bring a nice bottle of wine.
Favourite pastime: chilling out with the locals at the cafes of Chora.
Poulpos. Need I say more?

Folegandros

This summer, I fell in love! With a place that is, as my heart belongs to Nico...
Our latest home exchange took us to Folegandros, a lovely little island in the heart of the Cycladic Islands in Greece. The once a week ferry ride was well worth it and actually made the trip even more special. Forget about travelling by plane, boats are the future.
Once we got on the island, it was a succession of lazy morning breakfasts, days on the beach, clear blue sea, tzatziki and Mythos at one of the beach restaurants. Perfect family time! Ines had a wonderful time and by the end of it became quite confident in the water. I look forward to going back soon.

Dragana & Nenad

The reason we went to Lausanne was to attend our friend's wedding. Dragana & Nenad got married at the orthodox church in Lausanne. It was a lovely ceremony and a great party. Good to catch up with old friends and see the next generation getting along so well. The girls spent most of the night hiding under the table...
