35th Birthday

It was my 35th Birthday last week and I got lots of nice phone calls & messages from family and friends. Thanks so much everyone. Nico & Ines made the day special by preparing a tasty breakfast with "crepes", a lovely card and beautifully wrapped birthday present.

I got a Hang it All coat rack by Eames. I'm going to have to make space for it somewhere. I'll keep you posted.

Horniman Museum

We had a little day out a little while ago to the Horniman Museum.

I've been meaning to go there for a long time, and on a visit to our friends in South London, we thought we could spend the afternoon there. Great place to take the kids. They particularly enjoyed rolling down the hill in the gardens.

By the way, have you ever seen a snail move on the surface of the water below it.

Athina's 2nd birthday

We went to Athina's 2nd birthday a couple of weeks ago. I made her this cute pink tutu which I wrapped in brown paper and a tulle bow. I thought the packet was really nice, but she was not interested at all. Ines was really keen to see her open her gift for her and with a bit of negociating, she did.

Note to self: do not try and reinvent the wheel each time, a wrapping paper from tesco's will do just fine...

Best friends

These 2 little girls were walking around hand in hand with their mums and I noticed they swapped one shoe with each other. Cute.
