Holidays on another continent

Our first holidays as a family on the african continent. Only 5 more continents to explore for Ines. We are resting with Ines grand parents in sunny Casabllanca. We are eating nice morrocan food almost constantly and family and friends come and visit us between the walks by the ocean. The good thing is that we have another week before going back to I hope snowy London.

Happy New Year

Hello, Just a little happy new year postcard that Nadia has prepared. That means she seems to have more time on her hands. We have past the 40th day with our new born baby and Ines is getting even more confident that she has ever been. She is able to stay awake in her moses basket without crying for 15 minutes and then calls us (cries) to say she wants to have a big cuddle. We both run and fight to have as much time as we can with her. We are getting very close to our Holidays in Morocco so I have started packing a few things. This will go on until we leave on Friday.

Primrose Hill and Souvlaki

We went for our first lunch out today with Alex, Carlotta, Kilian and Xavier in Primrose Hill after a little walk around the non smoking gastro pubs. We found one but it was fully booked.
Ines decided to go for greek, she had lunch at the same time as mum was eating tsatsiki and lamb souvlaki.
We then decided to see uncle Hakim for Ines's first dinner at friends/family in his 7 bedroom flat in Holland Park. We had some more food and both Nadia and Nicolas felt sick as we ate too much.
We are now just resting at home and are looking forward to go to Greenwich to walk around the park with Jason and Irena and share impressions and decide exactly when Ines will experience her first sushi in Japan!
Just a few days before flying to Morocco!

Week End! Youpee!

Hello, it is Friday night, daddy came home late (as usual) but is now holding baby in his arms. I feel so much better. Just one week to go before the Christmas holidays wih Bassi and Mamy and cousin Nadir. I just can't wait. It will be time to relax and spend more time with Nadia and Ines.

Almost the weekend

Hello,
Ines slept quite well last night which means that Nadia and I did too. We are looking forward to the weekend. A bit of Christmas shopping, seeing Carlotta, Kilian and Rex on Saturday and will try to see Uncle Hakim and Jason and Irena.
This should keep us busy.

Ines is hungry

Hello, back from work at 7 PM. Ines is just waiting for another feeding session. She has been sleeping well all day and she went for a nice walk to Highbury Fields. Nadia managed to relax as well.
We are just preparing dinner and getting some energy for tonight. Good Night to Ines.

After the night

Hello,
Ines fed again from 7 PM to 1 AM on and off. She still has a lot of Gas. After 1 PM, she slept for a good 4-5 hours, had another feed and now is back to sleep. I got more sleep than the previous night so I am feeling a little bit better. I hope Nadia will feel the same.
It is believed that Ines will play with her little friend Rex over the weekend. It will be good fun to exchange mistakes with Carlotta and Kilian.

Evening Feeding

Hello, I just got back home and Ines is ready for another 6 hours feeding session. Nadia went for a walk from Green Park to Covent Garden to show Ines London City Center and mix with the tourists.
Ines is feeding so it is time to prepare some dinner for mum and dad.

Ines is 2 weeks old

Ines is aleardy 2 weeks old. She had lost 200 gr in the first week but is now at 3.56 Kg.
She is feeding, sleeping and crying (talking) well. We are not getting much sleep but we are going for daily walks which is relaxing.
Time is flying and Nico is now back to work. Very fustrating! She is changing on a daily basis.
She enjoys taking a bath as long as she does not have an empy stomach.
We sometimes think she has a routine because she sleeps twice for 3 hours in a row but we end up surprised as well everytime when she wants to feed on a off for 6 hours long!
Nadia's parents are over and cooking a looking after Nadia and Ines.

Day 1 - 9th of November 2005 - 9:06 AM

Ines Oulevay has arrived with 3.2 Kg for 52 cm. Nadia and Nicolas are fine. Ines breast fed for the firstime at 11:06 am after a few tests so she was really starving. She fed for a good hour and then was sleeping for 8 hours. She has big blue eyes, a lot of hair and long and thin arms and legs. She is just beautiful. Mummy and Daddy are so happy.
